I can sort like no other :D

As I was trying to understand the purpose of preferring organisation by labelling items over grouping them I more or less accidentally found how they should work and why.

I like to import knowledge across sectors and from the weirdest places, this is a guarantee for thinking out of the box by moving stuff in that absolutely works no-doubt about it!

Information travels fast on the web. PERIOD !

We have our ancient skills for logistics! This is even about stuff we can barely move. We can do that, we know how to, this is nothing new. Transport of goods is so slow and expensive we put a lot of thought into getting it right the past few thousand years.

So the folder thing and the label thing must be the same subject as a storage with free or fixed placing of goods.

Storing things in their own fixed location made em easy to find.
Storing things in free or random locations uses a lot less space but can make em hard to find.

A label is like a list of locations it shows were "label name" can be found in the storage.

I invented that labels should be sub tractable and addable

A more intelligent way of auto-creating labels should be invented. This is the main goal if not only use for a CMS.

I will try to make an example with hide/show post by subject :)
